First day back
Aug. 22nd, 2005 04:43 amI'm here. It's cool.
Peepaw helped me move, somewhat, but both of us were not up to the task. Luckily, James and his father had showed up to move Becka-chan, and they took over from there. I would have unpacked, but Amy abducted me to ride with her while she drove her mom back to the airport, and I had to help navigate home, heh. But hey, we got Cream Soda, so all was well.
Saw Tim and Colleen, then wandered away and ran into Russel's mom, and volunteered to carry crap, but I got sidetracked making fun of
tgbeowulf and colonising
luna_ozymandias's new chair. The new houses are enviably nice; my old room is still crap, but crap with new air conditioning^^ Did the God-touch with
samusjr, saw
mt_gap, wandered aimlessly, and it was cool. Scorned Nick, naturally, and confirmed that Dana will indeed be in Greek, because THERE IS A GOD and she is Resinski.
I had been awake, by this point, for a loooooong time, and hadn't eaten either, so I went to dinner, and talked with John, and then collapsed in my freshly made bed. And was then awoken by
metallicabyss and dragged away, to see her new Civic and apartment. We watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a delightfully trippy movie. And now I'm locked out.
That's right, Hendrix has switched to keycards for the outer doors. In my semi-stupefied state, I remembered my keys and not my wallet, just as well since my PJs have no pockets anyway. Blah.
The great JC brought my stuff back, but I haven't been able to carry it upstairs yet. I didn't see the computer CPU, which worries me; maybe Zach took it to work on and forgot, maybe it was stolen, or maybe I am just my usual unobservant self. Either way, oh well.
Well, that is all from me. I should really try to get back in my dorm now...
