Yargh, I got up too early today. Sheila came by yesterday morning to ask if I would help her catch a stray dog, to which my mom agreed for me, as I was asleep. I can't even properly be said to /exist/ at such times of day. So today she showed up, and we went and picked up this sweet, starved little hound mix who had lost her puppies and been snake-bit and all. Sheila's keeping her for now, and if she gets along with Baby she'll have a new home. Some redneck was threatening to shoot her *sigh*

So I hung out at Sheila's for a while, watched The Village on a big screen tv. That movie is wack. No, just regular type. I also got invited to a Lughnasadh celebration, which is cool. Their yard is frickin' huge, and has a nice place to hold Circles in and stuff.

It has lately occurred to me that going back to Hendrix means not only having to pack, but move all my shizzle again. That will fucking suck. Hopefully this time it won't be such an adventure, but I don't know how I'm gonna move. Maybe Sheila can help, she has a truck. Hadn't thought of that...

I think the Piercing Gods are watching over me. My labret ball keeps popping off randomly; fell out while I was talking to [livejournal.com profile] luna_ozymandias, got lost in some lasagna, fell in the floor, and then finally I just noticed it was gone and gave it up for good. Well, this morning my mom found it, outside, right in the middle of a stepping stone. I hadn't been outside yesterday before I lost it...I'm intrigued now. I switched to a different, larger ball anyway, so it'll be easier to find and less likely to fall off anyway.

well, that's all from me.

This is both funny and sad at the same time: Who knows? Maybe proselytising is fun! I'll just start going around trying to /convert/ people, like I know everything and have the right to do such a thing! Why didn't I think of this before? Of /course/ my god wants unwilling converts! My eyes have been opened.

Just wait, the fluffies will be wailing about "ye burning times" any minute now.

On the non-humourous side, my stomach still feels crappy. I still thoroughly enjoyed my dinner of oven-fried chicken and lots of southern type side dishes, as well as this Carol Berg book, "Song of the Beast". Mmm, bardery and dragons! Tasty.

That's all I've got, for now. Someone, anyone, get online! Or maybe I'll just read some more...
