Well, talking about random shizzle like hobbit succubi and ho-swapping with
luna_ozymandias, or more specifically, discussing my plans to reform pagan thought, and it occurred to me that I need to make a website on which to upload essays, which would be a little more public and easier to index than a LJ.
Damn, I didn't know it would be this confusing, or that I knew so little about website stuff. I thought knowing some html would be about enough. Haha, no.
Not that I just terribly need a website. But writing helps me formulate my views on things, and a website would be a place to post links to the other few good pagan sites I know of. I'm sick of all the crap out there, and rather than sitting around bitching, this would at least be semi-constructive.
Read an entire book today. Just a rehash of the beauty and the beast theme, combined with Prince of Persia, or something. Pretty entertaining, for random pulp fantasy stuff. Nice usage of Arabic and Persian myth and language.
Playing woodwinds still escapes me. Specifically, alto recorder is freakin' huge, compared to my handspan. I can /just/ reach seventh hole, but keeping all the fingers down to play F is well nigh impossible. Squawk, nine out of ten times. And halfholing? Forget it. Soprano's more my size, but I don't have the book for it. Maybe there are hand exercises? Yeah, google /that/. But I had the same problem with guitar, and piano, albeit less so. Reaching chords is hard, but on this, even single notes can be difficult. It's as long as my leg, either above or below the knee. And the book shows notes for something called a "bass" recorder. Aside from being a funny concept, that would have to be...well, a clarinet. As well as half my height.
I still need to figure out some way to make my language a font. Then I could help other like minds do so, and we could all share languages. I just don't know how you make a font though. I'm so computer illiterate. Seriously. Where was I, when my peers were learning useful shit? Oh yeah, I was learning ALCHEMY. Whoops. Me and my occult obsession.
Well, that's all for now kiddies. I almost wrote an essay earlier, but it was too hot so I went to sleep instead. When the cold-blooded beast that is me feels heat, you know it's bad. 50 days, eh guys?
